Human MAP-2 (Microtubule Associated Protein 2) ELISA Kit
The Human MAP-2 (Microtubule Associated Protein 2) ELISA Kit is an advanced assay developed for the quantitative measurement of MAP-2 levels in human biological samples.
MAP-2 is a key neuronal protein involved in stabilizing microtubules within the cytoskeleton of neurons and plays a crucial role in neuronal development, plasticity, and function. Alterations in MAP-2 expression levels are linked to various neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for assessing neuronal health and integrity. This ELISA kit enables researchers to precisely quantify MAP-2 levels, providing essential information on neuronal health, synaptic connectivity, and neuroplasticity. By accurately measuring MAP-2 concentrations, this assay aids in understanding neuronal pathophysiology and can serve as a valuable tool in neuroscientific research, drug discovery, and biomarker studies related to brain disorders. The Human MAP-2 ELISA Kit ensures exceptional sensitivity and specificity, delivering reliable and reproducible results. Manufactured under stringent quality control protocols, this kit offers robust performance and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for neurobiology and neuroscience research applications.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human MAP-2. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human MAP-2 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human MAP-2, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human MAP-2. You can calculate the concentration of Human MAP-2 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
