The Human LYZ (Lysozyme) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the sensitive and accurate detection of lysozyme levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring reliable and reproducible results for a variety of research applications.Lysozyme is an important enzyme that plays a key role in the immune system by breaking down bacterial cell walls. It is also involved in various physiological processes, such as wound healing and digestion.
Dysregulation of lysozyme levels has been associated with inflammatory diseases, infections, and certain cancers, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapeutic strategies.Overall, the Human LYZ (Lysozyme) ELISA Kit provides researchers with a powerful tool for exploring the role of lysozyme in health and disease, offering valuable insights into potential diagnostic and treatment options.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human LZM. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human LZM and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human LZM, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human LZM. You can calculate the concentration of Human LZM in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
