The Human LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative measurement of LDL levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reliable results for a variety of research applications.LDL, commonly referred to as "bad cholesterol," plays a key role in the development of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases. Monitoring LDL levels is crucial for assessing cardiovascular risk and evaluating the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
With its user-friendly protocol and fast assay time, the Human LDL ELISA Kit is an essential tool for researchers studying lipid metabolism, cardiovascular health, and related disorders. It provides valuable insight into LDL levels, allowing for a deeper understanding of disease mechanisms and the development of targeted treatments.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human LDL. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human LDL and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human LDL, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human LDL. You can calculate the concentration of Human LDL in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
