The Human KLK7 (Kallikrein 7) ELISA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of KLK7 levels in human samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for a wide range of research applications.KLK7 is an important serine protease involved in various biological processes such as skin barrier function, inflammation, and cancer progression.
Abnormal levels of KLK7 have been linked to various diseases, including skin disorders and certain types of cancer. Therefore, this ELISA kit serves as a valuable tool for studying KLK7 biology and its potential role in disease development, as well as for identifying potential therapeutic targets.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human KLK7. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human KLK7 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human KLK7, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human KLK7. You can calculate the concentration of Human KLK7 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
