The Human IL1RA (IL1F3) ELISA Kit is specially designed for the precise measurement of Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist (IL1RA) levels in human biological samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit ensures accurate and reproducible results, making it an excellent tool for a variety of research applications.IL1RA is a key cytokine that plays a crucial role in regulating the body's inflammatory response by inhibiting the activity of Interleukin-1 (IL-1).
Imbalances in IL1RA levels have been linked to various inflammatory and autoimmune disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and potentially developing targeted therapies. The Human IL1RA (IL1F3) ELISA Kit from AssayGenie provides researchers with a reliable and efficient tool for quantifying IL1RA levels in human samples, aiding in the advancement of scientific understanding and discovery in the field of immunology and inflammatory diseases.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human IL-1ra/IL-1F3. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human IL-1ra/IL-1F3 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human IL-1ra/IL-1F3, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human IL-1ra/IL-1F3. You can calculate the concentration of Human IL-1ra/IL-1F3 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
