The Human HNP1-3 (Neutrophil Peptide 1-3) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of HNP1-3 levels in human biological samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it suitable for a variety of research applications.HNP1-3, also known as human defensins, are small cationic antimicrobial peptides produced by neutrophils in response to infection or inflammation. These peptides play a critical role in the innate immune response by targeting and killing pathogens.
Elevated levels of HNP1-3 have been associated with various infectious and inflammatory conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and monitoring treatment efficacy. The Human HNP1-3 CLIA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers studying the role of defensins in the immune response, infectious diseases, and inflammatory disorders. Its high sensitivity and specificity ensure accurate quantification of HNP1-3 levels, providing valuable insights into the pathogenesis of various diseases and potential therapeutic targets.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human HNP1-3. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human HNP1-3 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human HNP1-3, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human HNP1-3. You can calculate the concentration of Human HNP1-3 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
