The Human α-Glu (Alpha Glucosidase) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the precise quantification of α-Glu levels in human biological samples. α-Glucosidase, a vital enzyme involved in carbohydrate metabolism, plays a critical role in catalyzing the breakdown of complex carbohydrates into simpler sugars. Dysregulation of α-Glu activity has been linked to metabolic disorders, glycogen storage diseases, and other carbohydrate metabolism irregularities, highlighting the significance of accurate α-Glu level measurements in understanding metabolic pathways and disease mechanisms. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Human α-Glu ELISA Kit enables researchers to accurately assess α-Glu concentrations, providing insights into carbohydrate digestion, glycogen metabolism, and metabolic health.
By offering reliable data on α-Glu levels, this ELISA kit serves as a valuable tool for investigating metabolic dysfunctions, elucidating carbohydrate processing pathways, and exploring therapeutic interventions targeting carbohydrate metabolism disorders. Manufactured under strict quality control guidelines, the Human α-Glu ELISA Kit ensures robust and reproducible performance, making it a reliable choice for researchers studying metabolic disorders, enzymology, and carbohydrate metabolism. Researchers can leverage this user-friendly kit to advance their understanding of α-Glucosidase function, metabolic pathways, and their implications in metabolic disorders and therapeutic strategies.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human α-Glu. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human α-Glu and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human α-Glu, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human α-Glu. You can calculate the concentration of Human α-Glu in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
