The Human GDN (Glial-Derived Nexin) ELISA Kit is specially designed to accurately measure GDN levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and consistent results for various research purposes. GDN, also known as protease nexin-1, is a key protein involved in regulating protease activity and inhibiting blood coagulation. It plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including inflammation, tissue remodeling, and wound healing. Dysregulation of GDN levels has been linked to conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, stroke, and inflammatory disorders, highlighting its significance as a potential biomarker for disease diagnosis and treatment.
By utilizing the Human GDN ELISA Kit, researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of GDN in health and disease, paving the way for innovative therapeutic strategies and diagnostic approaches. Its ease of use and reliable performance make it a valuable tool for studying GDN biology and its implications in various pathological conditions.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human GDN. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human GDN and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human GDN, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human GDN. You can calculate the concentration of Human GDN in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
