The Human GALT (Galactose-1-phosphate uridylyltransferase) ELISA Kit is a cutting-edge assay meticulously crafted to quantitatively measure GALT protein levels in human samples. GALT is a pivotal enzyme involved in the galactose metabolism pathway, responsible for converting galactose-1-phosphate to glucose-1-phosphate. Dysregulation or deficiency of GALT can lead to metabolic disorders like galactosemia, making accurate measurement of GALT levels crucial for understanding galactose metabolism and associated pathologies. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Human GALT ELISA Kit empowers researchers to precisely quantify GALT concentrations, facilitating investigations into galactose metabolism, diagnostic applications for galactosemia, and potential therapeutic strategies for metabolic disorders.
By offering reliable measurements of GALT, this ELISA kit is instrumental in elucidating the role of GALT in galactose homeostasis and metabolic health. Manufactured under stringent quality control standards, the Human GALT ELISA Kit ensures robust performance and reproducibility, enabling researchers to explore the intricate mechanisms of galactose metabolism with accuracy and efficiency. Researchers focusing on galactose-related metabolic pathways and disorders can utilize this user-friendly kit to advance their scientific inquiries and contribute to the understanding of galactose metabolism.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human GALT. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human GALT and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human GALT, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human GALT. You can calculate the concentration of Human GALT in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
