The Human FTL (Ferritin Light Polypeptide) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the precise measurement of ferritin levels in human samples such as serum and plasma. This kit is ideal for research applications where accurate quantification of ferritin is crucial.Ferritin is a key protein involved in iron storage and regulation, playing a vital role in various physiological processes. Abnormal levels of ferritin have been associated with conditions such as iron deficiency anemia, hemochromatosis, and inflammatory disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and developing therapeutic interventions.
With its reliable performance and robust analytical capabilities, the Human FTL CLIA Kit from Assay Genie is an invaluable tool for researchers and clinicians alike seeking to explore the role of ferritin in health and disease.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human FTL. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human FTL and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human FTL, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human FTL. You can calculate the concentration of Human FTL in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
