Canopy 3 homolog (CNPY3) is a 271 a.aToll-like receptor specific co-chaperone for HSP90B1. CNPY3 is necessitated for proper TLR folding, excluding that of TLR3, and so controls TLR exit from the endoplasmic reticulum. Therefore, CNPY3i s required for both innate and adaptive immune responses.
CNPY3 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 271 amino acids (31-278 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 29.9kDa. CNPY3 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
UniProt Protein Function: | TNRC5: Toll-like receptor (TLR)-specific co-chaperone for HSP90B1. Required for proper TLR folding, except that of TLR3, and hence controls TLR exit from the endoplasmic reticulum. Consequently, required for both innate and adaptative immune responses. Belongs to the canopy family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. |
UniProt Protein Details: | Protein type:Secreted, signal peptide; Secreted Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 6p21.1 Cellular Component: endoplasmic reticulum lumen Molecular Function:receptor binding Biological Process: toll-like receptor signaling pathway; innate immune response |
NCBI Summary: | This gene encodes a protein that binds members of the toll-like receptor protein family and functions as a chaperone to aid in folding and export of these proteins. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Naturally occuring readthrough transcription occurs between this locus and the downstream GNMT (glycine N-methyltransferase) gene and is represented with GeneID:107080644.
