Human CFTR (Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator) CLIA Kit
The Human CFTR (Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator) CLIA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the precise measurement of CFTR levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and consistent results for a variety of research purposes.CFTR is a vital protein involved in regulating ion transport across cell membranes, particularly in the respiratory and digestive systems. Mutations in the CFTR gene are linked to the development of cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder that affects the lungs and digestive system.
The ability to accurately measure CFTR levels is essential for studying disease mechanisms, developing new therapies, and monitoring treatment effectiveness in cystic fibrosis patients.By using the Human CFTR CLIA Kit, researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of CFTR in health and disease, paving the way for improved diagnostic approaches and targeted treatment strategies for individuals affected by cystic fibrosis.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human CFTR. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human CFTR and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human CFTR, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human CFTR. You can calculate the concentration of Human CFTR in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
