The Human CFB (Complement Factor B) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed to quantitatively detect CFB levels in a variety of biological samples. Complement Factor B is a crucial component of the alternative complement pathway involved in immune responses, complement activation, and the clearance of pathogens.
It plays a pivotal role in bridging innate and adaptive immunity by participating in opsonization, inflammation, and immune complex clearance. Understanding CFB levels is essential for deciphering immune system function, complement activation, and disease processes. Accurate measurement of CFB is vital for investigating its role in immune responses and disease pathogenesis. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, Assay Genie's CFB ELISA Kit ensures precise and reproducible results. Manufactured under strict quality control guidelines, this kit delivers reliable performance and user-friendly operation, making it an excellent choice for both laboratory research and clinical applications. Researchers can trust Assay Genie's CFB ELISA Kit for dependable quantitation of this essential complement factor in their studies.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human CFB. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human CFB and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human CFB, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human CFB. You can calculate the concentration of Human CFB in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
