Human CETP (Cholesteryl Ester Transfer Protein) ELISA Kit
The Human CETP (Cholesteryl Ester Transfer Protein) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate measurement of CETP levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and consistent results for a variety of research purposes.CETP is a key player in lipid metabolism, facilitating the transfer of cholesteryl esters between lipoproteins. Dysregulation of CETP activity has been linked to various metabolic disorders, including dyslipidemia and atherosclerosis.
Thus, accurate measurement of CETP levels is crucial for understanding lipid metabolism and developing therapeutic interventions. With its high-quality components and user-friendly protocol, the Human CETP ELISA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers investigating the role of CETP in health and disease. Whether studying cardiovascular health, metabolic disorders, or lipid-related conditions, this kit provides reliable data to advance scientific knowledge and potential treatments.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human CETP. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human CETP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human CETP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human CETP. You can calculate the concentration of Human CETP in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
