The Human CD95 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine5 Conjugated (DX2) is a powerful tool for research in immunology and cell biology. This antibody specifically targets the CD95 protein, also known as Fas receptor, a key player in the regulation of apoptosis or programmed cell death. By conjugating with PE-Cyanine5, this antibody allows for easy detection and analysis of CD95 expression in human samples using flow cytometry applications.CD95 is a crucial protein involved in the induction of apoptosis, a process essential for maintaining tissue homeostasis and eliminating damaged or infected cells. Dysregulation of CD95 signaling has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions.
Research using the CD95 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine5 Conjugated (DX2) can provide valuable insights into the role of CD95 in these diseases, potentially leading to the development of novel therapeutic interventions targeting apoptosis pathways. This antibody, validated for its high specificity and sensitivity, offers researchers a reliable tool for studying CD95 expression dynamics in diverse cell types and experimental conditions. Whether investigating basic mechanisms of cell death or exploring therapeutic strategies for disease intervention, the CD95 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine5 Conjugated (DX2) is a valuable resource for advancing scientific understanding in the field of immunology and beyond.

Background:
CD95 is a 45 kD single chain type I glycoprotein also known as Fas, APO-1, and TNFRSF6. It is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily. CD95 is expressed on T and B lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, and fibroblasts. CD95 expression is upregulated by activation. The extracellular region of CD95 binds to CD178 (Fas ligand). CD178 binding to CD95 induces apoptosis and has been shown to play a role in the maintenance of peripheral tolerance.
