Human CD8 (Cluster of Differentiation 8) ELISA Kit
The CD8 ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of Cluster of Differentiation 8 (CD8) levels in various human biological samples.
CD8 is a critical protein found on the surface of certain types of T cells, known as cytotoxic T cells, that play a significant role in the immune system. It is involved in T cell activation and signal transduction, facilitating the process of targeting foreign or infected cells. Accurate measurement of CD8 is crucial for understanding its role in immune response mechanisms and for the development of targeted immunotherapeutic strategies. Assay Genie's CD8 ELISA Kit offers unparalleled sensitivity and specificity, ensuring trustworthy and replicable results. Produced under strict quality control measures, this user-friendly kit delivers robust performance, making it an excellent choice for both clinical and research applications. Trust Assay Genie's CD8 ELISA Kit for accurate and reliable quantification of this critical biomarker in your studies.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human CD8. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human CD8 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human CD8, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human CD8. You can calculate the concentration of Human CD8 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
