The Human CD69 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine5 Conjugated (FN50) is a specialized tool designed for scientists investigating CD69, a key marker of early lymphocyte activation and a crucial player in immune response regulation. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with PE-Cyanine5, offers high specificity and sensitivity for detecting CD69 in human samples, making it an invaluable resource for flow cytometry and immunofluorescence studies.CD69, also known as very early activation antigen, is rapidly induced on the surface of lymphocytes upon activation, serving as a reliable indicator of immune cell stimulation. By targeting CD69 with this conjugated monoclonal antibody, researchers can precisely identify and analyze activated lymphocytes in diverse experimental settings, including immunology, infectious diseases, and inflammatory disorders.
The functionality of CD69 in initiating immune responses and influencing immune cell interactions underscores its significance in understanding immune system dynamics and developing targeted therapies. By utilizing the Human CD69 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine5 Conjugated (FN50), researchers can delve deeper into the mechanisms of immune activation and modulation, paving the way for advancements in immunotherapy, vaccine development, and autoimmune disease research.

Background:
CD69 is a 27-33 kD type II transmembrane protein also known as activation inducer molecule (AIM), very early activation antigen (VEA), and MLR3. It is a member of the C-type lectin family, expressed as a disulfide-linked homodimer. Other members of this receptor family include NKG2, NKR-P1 CD94, and Ly49. CD69 is transiently expressed on activated leukocytes including T cells, thymocytes, B cells, NK cells, neutrophils, and eosinophils. CD69 is constitutively expressed by a subset of medullary mature thymocytes, platelets, mantle B cells, and certain CD4+ T cells in germinal centers of normal lymph nodes. CD69 is involved in early events of lymphocyte, monocyte, and platelet activation, and has a functional role in redirected lysis mediated by activated NK cells.
