The Human CD45 Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5 Conjugated, HI30/AGEL1681) offered by Assay Genie is a potent tool for researchers investigating immune cells and immune response mechanisms. CD45, a well-known cell surface marker present on all leukocytes, is crucial for cell activation and differentiation in the immune system. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with PE/Cyanine5 for fluorescence detection, specifically targets CD45 in human samples. With its high specificity and sensitivity, this antibody is validated for applications such as flow cytometry and immunofluorescence, allowing researchers to accurately analyze and identify different leukocyte populations.
By binding to CD45, this antibody enables the visualization and characterization of immune cell subsets, making it an invaluable resource for studies in immunology, hematology, and infectious diseases.Understanding the role of CD45 in immune cell signaling and function is essential for unraveling complex immune responses and developing targeted therapies for various disorders, including autoimmune diseases and cancers. The Human CD45 Monoclonal Antibody provided by Assay Genie opens up possibilities for deeper insights into immune cell biology and the development of innovative treatments to address immune-related conditions.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD45 is a 180 - 240 kD single chain type I membrane glycoprotein also known as leukocyte common antigen (LCA) and T200. It is a tyrosine phosphatase expressed on the plasma membrane of all hematopoietic cells, except erythrocytes or platelets. CD45 is a signaling molecule that regulates a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, cell cycle, and oncogenic transformation. CD45 plays a critical role in T and B cell antigen receptor-mediated activation by dephosphorylating substrates including p56Lck, p59Fyn, and other Src family kinases. CD45 non-covalently associates with lymphocyte phosphatase-associated phosphoprotein (LPAP) on T and B lymphocytes. CD45 has been reported to bind galectin-1 and to be associated with several other cell surface antigens including CD1, CD2, CD3, and CD4.
