The Human CD35 Monoclonal Antibody (APC-conjugated) E11-AGEL1012 is a cutting-edge tool designed for researchers studying CD35, a cell surface receptor known for its role in the immune system. This monoclonal antibody, derived from hybridoma technology, specifically targets human CD35 and is conjugated with APC for fluorescent detection in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications.CD35, also referred to as complement receptor 1 (CR1), is a key player in the immune response, particularly in the clearance of immune complexes and pathogens through complement activation. Its presence on various immune cells, including erythrocytes and phagocytes, underscores its importance in immune surveillance and regulation. The APC-conjugated CD35 monoclonal antibody provides a reliable tool for quantifying and studying CD35 expression levels on different cell populations, offering insights into immune function and complement-mediated processes.
Ideal for use in immunology, hematology, and infectious disease research, this antibody enables researchers to explore the intricate roles of CD35 in various physiological and pathological conditions. By facilitating the detection and characterization of CD35-expressing cells, this monoclonal antibody contributes to a deeper understanding of immune regulation and complements investigations into disorders involving complement dysregulation, autoimmune diseases, and infectious agents. Take your research to the next level with the Human CD35 Monoclonal Antibody (APC-conjugated) E11-AGEL1012 from AssayGenie.

Background:
CD35 is a type I single chain of glycoprotein, also known as C3b/C4b receptor, Complement Receptor type 1 or CR1. Four molecular weight allotypes (160kD, 190kD, 220kD, and 250kD) have been described. CD35 is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes, B cells, erythrocytes, and follicular dendritic cells, as well as subsets of NK and T cells. CD35 binds complement C3b, C4b, or iC3, and iC4, and plays important roles in both innate and adoptive immune response via mediating phagocytosis by granulocytes and monocytes. CD35 has also been reported to inhibit T-cell proliferation.
