The Human CD24 Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated) - ML5 (AGEL1760) is a cutting-edge research tool designed for scientists studying CD24, a key cell surface marker associated with various physiological and pathological processes. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with PE for enhanced detection capabilities, is specifically engineered for use with human samples, offering high specificity and sensitivity in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications.CD24, a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein, is known to have diverse roles in immune responses, cell adhesion, and cancer metastasis. By targeting CD24 with this monoclonal antibody, researchers can effectively label and track CD24-expressing cells in tissue samples or cell cultures, enabling detailed analysis and characterization.
This antibody is invaluable for investigations in immunology, oncology, stem cell research, and beyond.Utilizing the Human CD24 Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated) - ML5 (AGEL1760) opens up new avenues for understanding the function and regulation of CD24 in various biological contexts. With its specificity, high performance, and broad applicability, this antibody is a powerful tool for unraveling the intricate mechanisms involving CD24 and its implications in health and disease.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD24 is a 35-45 kD glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked protein also known as heat stable antigen (HSA), BA-1, Ly-52, and nectadrin. It is expressed on the surface of B cells (but not plasma cells), granulocytes, follicular dendritic cells, and epithelial cells. CD24 may play a role in the regulation of B-cell proliferation and maturation. CD24 crosslinking induces a Ca2+ flux in mature B cells. CD24 has been shown to interact with CD62P (P-selectin).
