The CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5 Conjugated, ICRF44) is a specialized reagent designed for precise detection and analysis of the CD11b protein, an important cell surface marker associated with immune responses and inflammation. This antibody is conjugated with PE and Cyanine5 for enhanced signal detection in flow cytometry and fluorescence-based assays.CD11b, also known as integrin alpha M, is a key component of the Mac-1 integrin complex primarily found on the surface of myeloid cells, including monocytes, macrophages, and granulocytes. Its involvement in cellular adhesion and migration processes makes it a valuable target for studies focusing on immune cell function and inflammatory responses. The CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5 Conjugated, ICRF44) offers high specificity and sensitivity in recognizing CD11b in human samples, providing researchers with a powerful tool for investigating immune cell populations and their activation status.
With its application in flow cytometry and multiparametric analysis, this antibody facilitates detailed characterization of immune cell subsets and their role in various physiological and pathological conditions.Researchers in immunology, inflammation, and disease biology will find the CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5 Conjugated, ICRF44) invaluable for advancing their understanding of immune cell dynamics and developing innovative approaches for therapeutic interventions targeting immune-related disorders.

Background:
CD11b is a 165-170 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as αMintegrin, Mac-1, CR3, and C3biR. CD11b non-covalently associates with integrin β2(CD18) and is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells, and subsets of T and B cells. CD11b/CD18 is critical for the transendothelial migration of monocytes and neutrophils. It is also involved in granulocyte adhesion, phagocytosis, and neutrophil activation. CD11b/CD18 interacts with ICAM-1 (CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), ICAM-4, CD14, CD23, heparin, iC3b, fibrinogen, and factor X.
