The Human CALD (Caldesmon) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative detection of caldesmon levels in human samples such as serum and plasma. This kit offers high sensitivity and accuracy, allowing for reliable and reproducible results for research purposes.Caldesmon is a key regulatory protein in smooth muscle cells and plays a vital role in controlling muscle contraction. Dysregulation of caldesmon has been implicated in various diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing targeted therapies.
With the Human CALD CLIA Kit, researchers can confidently analyze caldesmon levels in human samples, gaining insights into its role in disease pathogenesis and potential therapeutic targets. This kit is a valuable tool for advancing research in the fields of oncology, cardiovascular health, and beyond.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human CALD. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human CALD and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human CALD, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human CALD. You can calculate the concentration of Human CALD in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
