The Human BNP (Brain Natriuretic Peptide) ELISA Kit is expertly designed to enable the precise quantitative detection of Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP) levels in a variety of biological samples. BNP, a cardiac hormone secreted mainly by the heart's ventricles in response to increased pressure and volume overload, serves as a valuable biomarker for heart failure diagnosis and management. Its role in regulating blood pressure, fluid balance, and cardiovascular homeostasis highlights its significance in cardiovascular research and clinical applications.
Our BNP ELISA Kit guarantees exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reproducible results. Manufactured with strict adherence to quality control standards, this kit offers robust performance and user-friendly protocols, making it an ideal choice for cutting-edge research endeavors. Trust Assay Genie's BNP ELISA Kit for reliable and precise quantification of this essential cardiac biomarker in your scientific investigations.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human BNP. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human BNP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human BNP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human BNP. You can calculate the concentration of Human BNP in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
