The Human BECN1 (Beclin-1) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise quantification of Beclin-1 levels in human biological samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its exceptional sensitivity and specificity, this kit delivers accurate and consistent results, making it an invaluable tool for various research applications.Beclin-1 is a key regulator of autophagy, a cellular process essential for maintaining homeostasis by degrading unnecessary or dysfunctional components. Dysregulation of autophagy has been implicated in various diseases including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and inflammatory conditions.
Therefore, Beclin-1 serves as a critical biomarker for exploring disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions.Don't miss out on the opportunity to advance your research with the Human BECN1 ELISA Kit, providing you with the necessary tools to study autophagy and its role in health and disease. This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human BECN1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human BECN1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human BECN1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human BECN1. You can calculate the concentration of Human BECN1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
