Human ATF6 (Activating Transcription Factor 6) ELISA Kit
The Human ATF6 (Activating Transcription Factor 6) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate detection of ATF6 levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring reliable and reproducible results for a variety of research applications.ATF6 is a key transcription factor that plays a critical role in the unfolded protein response pathway, regulating the expression of genes involved in protein folding and quality control.
Dysregulation of ATF6 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders, making it an important biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Human ATF6 ELISA Kit provides a valuable tool for researchers to accurately measure ATF6 levels in biological samples, aiding in the understanding of its function and potential implications in disease pathogenesis.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human ATF6. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human ATF6 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human ATF6, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human ATF6. You can calculate the concentration of Human ATF6 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
