The Human AST (Aspartate Aminotransferase) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise detection of AST levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring consistent and accurate results, making it perfect for a variety of research purposes.AST is an important enzyme that plays a key role in amino acid metabolism and is primarily found in the liver, heart, and skeletal muscle.
Changes in AST levels can indicate liver disease, heart damage, or muscle injury, making it a valuable biomarker for monitoring and diagnosing these conditions. With the Human AST ELISA Kit, researchers can gain valuable insights into various health conditions and potentially develop targeted treatments to improve patient outcomes. Elevate your research with this reliable and innovative ELISA kit today.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human AST. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human AST and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human AST, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human AST. You can calculate the concentration of Human AST in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
