The Human AQP-4 (Aquaporin 4) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of AQP-4 levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for a variety of research applications.AQP-4 is a key protein involved in regulating water transport in the body, particularly in the central nervous system. Dysfunction of AQP-4 has been implicated in various neurological disorders such as neuromyelitis optica and multiple sclerosis, making it a critical biomarker for studying these conditions and potentially developing new therapeutic interventions.
With its high sensitivity and specificity, the Human AQP-4 CLIA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers and clinicians working in the field of neuroscience and neurology. Unlock the potential of your research with the accuracy and precision of this innovative assay kit.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human AQP-4. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human AQP-4 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human AQP-4, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human AQP-4. You can calculate the concentration of Human AQP-4 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
