The HSPE1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7437) is a valuable research tool for studying HSPE1, a heat shock protein found in mitochondria. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blotting applications. By binding to the HSPE1 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in various cell types, making it an essential tool for research in mitochondrial biology, cellular stress responses, and neurodegenerative diseases.HSPE1, also known as HSP10, plays a crucial role in protein folding and quality control within the mitochondria. It is involved in maintaining mitochondrial homeostasis and protecting cells from stress-induced damage.
Dysregulation of HSPE1 has been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders, metabolic diseases, and cancer. Investigating the function of HSPE1 can provide insights into these conditions and potentially lead to the development of new therapeutic strategies.Overall, the HSPE1 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable tool for researchers interested in studying the molecular mechanisms of HSPE1 and its involvement in mitochondrial function and disease pathology. Its specificity and sensitivity make it a valuable asset for advancing our understanding of cellular stress responses and developing targeted interventions for various health conditions.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-102 of human HSPE1/HSP10/CPN10 (NP_002148.1).
This gene encodes a major heat shock protein which functions as a chaperonin. Its structure consists of a heptameric ring which binds to another heat shock protein in order to form a symmetric, functional heterodimer which enhances protein folding in an ATP-dependent manner. This gene and its co-chaperonin, HSPD1, are arranged in a head-to-head orientation on chromosome 2. Naturally occurring read-through transcription occurs between this locus and the neighboring locus MOBKL3.
