The HSPB1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13681) is specifically designed for research involving HSPB1, a heat shock protein implicated in various cellular processes, including stress response and cell survival. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the HSPB1 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of HSPB1 in different cell types, making it ideal for studies in cell biology, neurology, and cancer research.HSPB1, also known as heat shock protein beta-1, plays a crucial role in protecting cells from different stressors, such as heat, oxidative stress, and toxic chemicals.
Its involvement in cell survival and the regulation of cellular processes makes it a valuable target for research into neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, and other conditions involving cellular stress. Understanding the function of HSPB1 is essential for developing potential therapies that target cellular stress response pathways in various disease contexts.Overall, the HSPB1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13681) offers a reliable tool for researchers investigating the role of HSPB1 in cellular stress response mechanisms and its potential implications in disease development and progression.

This gene encodes a member of the small heat shock protein (HSP20) family of proteins. In response to environmental stress, the encoded protein translocates from the cytoplasm to the nucleus and functions as a molecular chaperone that promotes the correct folding of other proteins. This protein plays an important role in the differentiation of a wide variety of cell types. Expression of this gene is correlated with poor clinical outcome in multiple human cancers, and the encoded protein may promote cancer cell proliferation and metastasis, while protecting cancer cells from apoptosis. Mutations in this gene have been identified in human patients with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and distal hereditary motor neuropathy.
