The HPD Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6505) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the HPD protein, which is involved in various biological processes, including immune regulation and inflammation. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. The HPD protein, also known as 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase, plays a crucial role in the tyrosine catabolic pathway and is essential for the breakdown of tyrosine into various metabolites.
Dysregulation of HPD activity has been linked to various diseases, including hereditary tyrosinemia type III and neurological disorders.By using the HPD Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can detect and analyze the expression of HPD in different cell types, allowing for a better understanding of its role in health and disease. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in biochemistry, molecular biology, and metabolic disorders, providing insights that could lead to the development of novel therapeutic approaches.
Product Name:
HPD Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB6505
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-393 of human HPD (NP_002141.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is an enzyme in the catabolic pathway of tyrosine. The encoded protein catalyzes the conversion of 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate to homogentisate. Defects in this gene are a cause of tyrosinemia type 3 (TYRO3) and hawkinsinuria (HAWK). Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Purification Method:
Affinity purification
Gene ID:
3242
Storage Buffer:
Store at -20℃. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide,50% glycerol,pH7.3.
Western blot analysis of various lysates using HPD Rabbit pAb (CAB6505) at 1:1000 dilution.Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (CABS014) at 1:10000 dilution.Lysates/proteins: 25μg per lane.Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.Detection: ECL Enhanced Kit (AbGn00021).Exposure time: 10s.
