The HOXC8 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15066) is specifically designed for research involving the HOXC8 protein, a member of the homeobox family of transcription factors that play a key role in embryonic development and cell differentiation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.HOXC8 is known to regulate gene expression in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its dysregulation has been associated with developmental disorders and cancer. By binding specifically to the HOXC8 protein, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze its expression in different cell types, making it a valuable tool for studying various physiological and pathological processes.
Understanding the function of HOXC8 is essential for unraveling its role in development and disease. Research using this antibody may provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for conditions influenced by HOXC8 activity, such as cancer and developmental abnormalities. Explore the potential of the HOXC8 Polyclonal Antibody for your immunological and oncological studies.

This gene belongs to the homeobox family of genes. The homeobox genes encode a highly conserved family of transcription factors that play an important role in morphogenesis in all multicellular organisms. Mammals possess four similar homeobox gene clusters, HOXA, HOXB, HOXC and HOXD, which are located on different chromosomes and consist of 9 to 11 genes arranged in tandem. This gene is one of several homeobox HOXC genes located in a cluster on chromosome 12. The product of this gene may play a role in the regulation of cartilage differentiation. It could also be involved in chondrodysplasias or other cartilage disorders.
