The HNRNPAB Polyclonal Antibody (CAB17497) is a valuable tool for researchers studying HNRNPAB, a protein involved in RNA processing and gene expression regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, shows high specificity and reactivity towards human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the HNRNPAB protein, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze the expression of HNRNPAB in various cell types.HNRNPAB, also known as heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein AB, plays a crucial role in mRNA splicing and stability, making it a key player in gene regulation.
Dysregulation of HNRNPAB has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders. Therefore, understanding the function and regulation of HNRNPAB is essential for advancing research in these fields and developing potential therapies.Overall, the HNRNPAB Polyclonal Antibody (CAB17497) is a valuable tool for researchers investigating the role of HNRNPAB in gene expression regulation and its implications in disease pathology. Its high specificity and reactivity towards human samples make it a reliable choice for studies in molecular biology, oncology, and neurology.
This gene belongs to the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs). The hnRNPs are produced by RNA polymerase II and are components of the heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) complexes. They are associated with pre-mRNAs in the nucleus and appear to influence pre-mRNA processing and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport. While all of the hnRNPs are present in the nucleus, some seem to shuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. The hnRNP proteins have distinct nucleic acid binding properties. The protein encoded by this gene, which binds to one of the components of the multiprotein editosome complex, has two repeats of quasi-RRM (RNA recognition motif) domains that bind to RNAs. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
