The Anti-Histone H2AX Antibody (CAB11097) is a powerful tool for researchers studying histone H2AX, a key player in DNA damage response signaling. This antibody, raised in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the histone H2AX protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of histone H2AX levels in various cell types, making it an essential tool for studies in molecular biology, cancer research, and genomics.Histone H2AX is known to be phosphorylated in response to DNA damage, facilitating the recruitment of repair factors to the site of damage and playing a critical role in maintaining genomic stability.
Research into histone H2AX and its functions is vital for understanding the mechanisms of DNA damage repair and how these processes are dysregulated in diseases such as cancer and genetic disorders. The Anti-Histone H2AX Antibody provides researchers with a reliable means of studying histone H2AX and its implications in various cellular processes.

Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Two molecules of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. The linker histone, H1, interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes and functions in the compaction of chromatin into higher order structures. This gene encodes a replication-independent histone that is a member of the histone H2A family, and generates two transcripts through the use of the conserved stem-loop termination motif, and the polyA addition motif.
