The HIF1A Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7684) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF1A) protein, a key player in cellular response to low oxygen levels. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and is optimized for Western blot applications. By binding specifically to HIF1A, researchers can accurately detect and analyze the protein in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for studies in physiology, cancer biology, and developmental biology.HIF1A is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in the adaptation of cells to hypoxic conditions, regulating the expression of genes involved in angiogenesis, glycolysis, and cell proliferation.
Dysregulation of HIF1A signaling is implicated in various diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and metabolic syndromes. Understanding the function of HIF1A is essential for developing targeted therapies that manipulate its activity for therapeutic benefit.Overall, the HIF1A Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7684) provides researchers with a reliable tool for investigating the role of HIF1A in health and disease, offering valuable insights into cellular responses to hypoxia and potential therapeutic strategies for related conditions.

This gene encodes the alpha subunit of transcription factor hypoxia-inducible factor-1 (HIF-1), which is a heterodimer composed of an alpha and a beta subunit. HIF-1 functions as a master regulator of cellular and systemic homeostatic response to hypoxia by activating transcription of many genes, including those involved in energy metabolism, angiogenesis, apoptosis, and other genes whose protein products increase oxygen delivery or facilitate metabolic adaptation to hypoxia. HIF-1 thus plays an essential role in embryonic vascularization, tumor angiogenesis and pathophysiology of ischemic disease. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
