The HAVCR2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13445) is a valuable tool for researchers studying HAVCR2, a cell surface receptor involved in regulating immune responses. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the HAVCR2 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of HAVCR2 in various cell types, making it ideal for immunology and cancer research studies.HAVCR2, also known as TIM-3, is a critical immune checkpoint receptor that plays a crucial role in immune regulation by modulating T cell responses. Its involvement in immune tolerance and exhaustion makes it a promising target for research into cancer immunotherapy and autoimmune diseases.
Understanding the role of HAVCR2 in immune modulation is essential for developing novel therapeutic strategies to enhance or suppress immune responses in disease settings.Overall, the HAVCR2 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers interested in studying the functions and mechanisms of HAVCR2 in immune regulation and disease pathology. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it a reliable resource for elucidating the complex role of HAVCR2 in immune responses and potential therapeutic interventions.

Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 22-202 of human TIM-3/HAVCR2 (NP_116171.3).
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, and TIM family of proteins. CD4-positive T helper lymphocytes can be divided into types 1 (Th1) and 2 (Th2) on the basis of their cytokine secretion patterns. Th1 cells are involved in cell-mediated immunity to intracellular pathogens and delayed-type hypersensitivity reactions, whereas, Th2 cells are involved in the control of extracellular helminthic infections and the promotion of atopic and allergic diseases. This protein is a Th1-specific cell surface protein that regulates macrophage activation, and inhibits Th1-mediated auto- and alloimmune responses, and promotes immunological tolerance.
