The HAP1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16333) is a valuable tool for researchers studying HAP1, a crucial protein involved in cellular functions and homeostasis. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific and reacts strongly with human samples, making it ideal for a variety of research applications.HAP1, also known as Huntingtin-associated protein 1, is a key player in intracellular trafficking and vesicular transport, making it essential for proper cellular function. Studies have shown its involvement in neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington's disease, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target.
This antibody is validated for use in Western blot assays, enabling researchers to detect and analyze HAP1 expression in different cell types and tissues. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it a valuable tool for investigating the role of HAP1 in various physiological and pathological processes.By using the HAP1 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the function of this important protein and its potential implications in disease pathogenesis. This antibody is a valuable resource for studies in neuroscience, cell biology, and drug development.

Huntington's disease (HD), a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by loss of striatal neurons, is caused by an expansion of a polyglutamine tract in the HD protein huntingtin. This gene encodes a protein that interacts with huntingtin, with two cytoskeletal proteins (dynactin and pericentriolar autoantigen protein 1), and with a hepatocyte growth factor-regulated tyrosine kinase substrate. The interactions with cytoskeletal proteins and a kinase substrate suggest a role for this protein in vesicular trafficking or organelle transport. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
