The GTF2IRD1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6613) is a valuable tool for researchers studying GTF2IRD1, a transcription factor involved in chromatin remodeling and gene expression regulation. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the GTF2IRD1 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of GTF2IRD1 levels in various cell types, making it an essential reagent for studies in gene regulation and developmental biology.GTF2IRD1 plays a crucial role in controlling the expression of genes involved in development and differentiation processes.
Its function in chromatin remodeling makes it a key player in regulating cellular processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Researchers studying GTF2IRD1 aim to unravel its role in various biological processes and its implications in diseases such as developmental disorders and cancer. By understanding the molecular pathways regulated by GTF2IRD1, researchers can gain insights into potential therapeutic targets for disease intervention.
Product Name:
GTF2IRD1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB6613
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 660-959 of human GTF2IRD1 (NP_057412.1).
The protein encoded by this gene contains five GTF2I-like repeats and each repeat possesses a potential helix-loop-helix (HLH) motif. It may have the ability to interact with other HLH-proteins and function as a transcription factor or as a positive transcriptional regulator under the control of Retinoblastoma protein. This gene plays a role in craniofacial and cognitive development and mutations have been associated with Williams-Beuren syndrome, a multisystem developmental disorder caused by deletion of multiple genes at 7q11.23. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
