The GTF2H3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7188) is a valuable tool for researchers studying GTF2H3, a key protein involved in transcription and DNA repair processes. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the GTF2H3 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of GTF2H3 in various cell types, making it an essential component for studies in molecular biology and cancer research.GTF2H3 is an essential subunit of the general transcription factor IIH complex, which plays a crucial role in the initiation of transcription and DNA repair mechanisms.
Dysfunction of GTF2H3 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and developmental disorders, highlighting the importance of studying its functions and regulatory mechanisms. This antibody provides researchers with a reliable tool to investigate the role of GTF2H3 in cellular processes and diseases, ultimately advancing our understanding of gene expression and genomic stability.

This gene encodes a member of the TFB4 family. The encoded protein is a subunit of the core-TFIIH basal transcription factor and localizes to the nucleus. The encoded protein is involved in RNA transcription by RNA polymerase II and nucleotide excision repair and associates with the Cdk-activating kinase complex. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A related pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 14.
