Description
Grp94 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB21635)
The GRP94 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the chaperone protein GRP94, which plays a crucial role in protein folding and quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific for detecting GRP94 in human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.GRP94, also known as glucose-regulated protein 94, is essential for proper protein folding and assembly, making it a key player in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Dysregulation of GRP94 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and immune system dysfunction.
The ability to accurately detect and measure GRP94 levels with this polyclonal antibody is essential for understanding the role of this chaperone protein in disease development and progression. With its high reactivity and specificity, the GRP94 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for researchers interested in unraveling the molecular mechanisms underlying disease pathogenesis and developing targeted therapies that leverage the function of GRP94.

This gene encodes a member of a family of adenosine triphosphate(ATP)-metabolizing molecular chaperones with roles in stabilizing and folding other proteins. The encoded protein is localized to melanosomes and the endoplasmic reticulum. Expression of this protein is associated with a variety of pathogenic states, including tumor formation. There is a microRNA gene located within the 5' exon of this gene. There are pseudogenes for this gene on chromosomes 1 and 15.
