The GPA33 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15127) is a valuable tool for research involving GPA33, a cell surface glycoprotein that is overexpressed in various types of cancer, including colorectal cancer. This antibody is raised in rabbits and is highly reactive with human samples, making it ideal for studies in cancer biology and therapy development. GPA33 is a promising target for cancer immunotherapy due to its restricted expression in normal tissues and high expression in cancer cells. The GPA33 Polyclonal Antibody binds specifically to GPA33, allowing for detection and analysis in a variety of cell types.
It is validated for use in Western blot applications, providing researchers with reliable results for their experiments.By studying the role of GPA33 in cancer progression and metastasis, researchers can gain valuable insights into potential therapeutic strategies for targeting this protein in cancer treatment. The GPA33 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for investigating the biology of GPA33 and its implications in cancer research.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 22-235 of human GPA33 (NP_005805.1).
The glycoprotein encoded by this gene is a cell surface antigen that is expressed in greater than 95% of human colon cancers. The open reading frame encodes a 319-amino acid polypeptide having a putative secretory signal sequence and 3 potential glycosylation sites. The predicted mature protein has a 213-amino acid extracellular region, a single transmembrane domain, and a 62-amino acid intracellular tail. The sequence of the extracellular region contains 2 domains characteristic of the CD2 subgroup of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily.
