The GNA11 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying GNA11, a protein involved in cell signaling pathways and implicated in various diseases, including cancer. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and is validated for use in immunohistochemistry and ELISA applications. By binding to the GNA11 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of GNA11 expression in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in oncology and signal transduction research.
GNA11, a member of the G protein family, plays a crucial role in regulating cell proliferation, migration, and survival, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention in cancer and other diseases. Understanding the function of GNA11 can provide valuable insights into disease mechanisms and may lead to the development of targeted therapies that can improve patient outcomes. Researchers can rely on the GNA11 Polyclonal Antibody to support their investigations into the role of GNA11 in health and disease.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins), which function as modulators or transducers in various transmembrane signaling systems. G proteins are composed of 3 units: alpha, beta and gamma. This gene encodes one of the alpha subunits (subunit alpha-11). Mutations in this gene have been associated with hypocalciuric hypercalcemia type II (HHC2) and hypocalcemia dominant 2 (HYPOC2). Patients with HHC2 and HYPOC2 exhibit decreased or increased sensitivity, respectively, to changes in extracellular calcium concentrations.
