The GNA11 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2731) is a valuable tool for researchers studying GNA11, a protein involved in intracellular signaling pathways. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the GNA11 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of GNA11 in various cell types, making it ideal for research in signal transduction and cancer biology.GNA11 is a crucial component in cell signaling, particularly in pathways related to cell proliferation and differentiation.
Dysregulation of GNA11 has been implicated in various cancers and other diseases, making it an attractive target for therapeutic intervention. By understanding the role of GNA11 in these processes, researchers can develop targeted therapies that aim to modulate its activity for clinical benefit.Overall, the GNA11 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2731) provides researchers with a reliable tool to investigate the functions and mechanisms of GNA11 in health and disease. Its specificity and sensitivity make it an essential reagent for studies in cell biology, oncology, and drug discovery.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins), which function as modulators or transducers in various transmembrane signaling systems. G proteins are composed of 3 units: alpha, beta and gamma. This gene encodes one of the alpha subunits (subunit alpha-11). Mutations in this gene have been associated with hypocalciuric hypercalcemia type II (HHC2) and hypocalcemia dominant 2 (HYPOC2). Patients with HHC2 and HYPOC2 exhibit decreased or increased sensitivity, respectively, to changes in extracellular calcium concentrations.
