The GLI3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15613) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the GLI3 protein, a transcription factor involved in developmental processes and implicated in various diseases, including cancer and genetic disorders. Raised in rabbits, this antibody is optimized for use in Western blot applications and is highly reactive with human samples. By binding specifically to the GLI3 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in developmental biology, oncology, and genetics research.GLI3 is a key regulator of cell growth, differentiation, and patterning during development, making it a crucial target for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying disease pathogenesis.
Dysregulation of GLI3 signaling has been linked to various developmental abnormalities and cancers, highlighting the importance of studying its function in both normal and disease states. The GLI3 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a reliable tool for studying the intricate roles of GLI3 in cellular processes and disease progression, ultimately contributing to the development of targeted therapies for related conditions.

This gene encodes a protein which belongs to the C2H2-type zinc finger proteins subclass of the Gli family. They are characterized as DNA-binding transcription factors and are mediators of Sonic hedgehog (Shh) signaling. The protein encoded by this gene localizes in the cytoplasm and activates patched Drosophila homolog (PTCH) gene expression. It is also thought to play a role during embryogenesis. Mutations in this gene have been associated with several diseases, including Greig cephalopolysyndactyly syndrome, Pallister-Hall syndrome, preaxial polydactyly type IV, and postaxial polydactyly types A1 and B.
