The GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Mouse CD45.2 Antibody (104-2) is a potent tool for researchers studying immune cell populations in mouse models. This antibody, specifically designed for detecting the CD45.2 protein, is crucial for identifying and analyzing immune cell subsets in various experimental settings.CD45.2, a cell surface marker found on leukocytes, plays a fundamental role in immune cell signaling and activation. By targeting CD45.2 with this antibody, researchers can confidently identify specific immune cell populations in flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and other immunological assays.
This precision enables in-depth studies on immune responses, inflammatory conditions, and immune cell interactions in disease models. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Mouse CD45.2 Antibody (104-2) offers researchers a reliable means to explore the intricacies of immune cell function and behavior in mouse models. Whether investigating immunology, inflammation, or infectious diseases, this antibody is a valuable asset for advancing research in these crucial areas of study.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD45.2 is an alloantigen of CD45, expressed by Ly5.2 bearing mouse strains (e.g., A, AKR, BALB/c, CBA/Ca, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL, C57BR, C57L, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, NZB, SWR, 129). CD45, a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, is a 180-240 kD glycoprotein expressed on all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. There are multiple isoforms in the mouse that play key roles in TCR and BCR signal transduction. These isoforms are very specific to the activation and maturation states of the cell as well as specific cell type. The primary ligands for CD45 are galectin-1, CD2, CD3, CD4, TCR, CD22, and Thy-1.
