The GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Mouse CD11c Antibody (N418) is a powerful tool designed for researchers studying immune cells expressing CD11c, a surface marker commonly found on dendritic cells. This antibody, specifically engineered for use in mouse samples, is derived from a hybridoma cell line and has been extensively validated for flow cytometry applications.CD11c is a key integrin involved in cell adhesion and immune cell interactions, particularly in antigen presentation and T cell activation processes. Its expression on dendritic cells serves as a valuable indicator for immune system activation and maturation.
The GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Mouse CD11c Antibody (N418) binds specifically to CD11c molecules, enabling precise detection and analysis of dendritic cells in various experimental settings.By targeting CD11c, researchers can delve into the functions and responses of dendritic cells in immune processes, such as antigen presentation and immune regulation. This antibody's reliability and specificity make it an indispensable tool for immunologists and researchers exploring the intricacies of immune cell biology and inflammatory responses in preclinical and basic research studies.

Background:
CD11c is a 150 kD glycoprotein also known as αX integrin, CR4, and p150. CD11c forms a αXβ2 heterodimer with β2 integrin (CD18). It is primarily expressed on dendritic cells, NK cells, a subset of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and some activated T cells. The αXβ2 integrin plays an important role in cell-cell contact by binding its ligands: iC3b, fibrinogen and CD54.
