The GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Human CD41 Antibody (HIP8) from Assay Genie is a vital tool for immunology and hematology research. This antibody is designed for the specific detection of CD41, a platelet glycoprotein involved in blood clotting processes. The GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Human CD41 Antibody is validated for use in flow cytometry applications, enabling precise and accurate identification and analysis of CD41-expressing cells in various biological samples.CD41, also known as integrin alpha IIb, is a crucial component of platelets, essential for hemostasis and thrombosis. Research involving CD41 can provide insights into platelet function, coagulation disorders, and cardiovascular diseases.
The GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Human CD41 Antibody offers high reactivity and specificity for human samples, making it a reliable tool for studies focusing on platelet biology, blood disorders, and vascular health.By targeting CD41 with the GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Human CD41 Antibody, researchers can explore the role of platelets in various physiological and pathological conditions, advancing our understanding of hemostasis and thrombosis mechanisms. This antibody is a valuable asset for laboratories seeking to elucidate the intricate processes involving CD41 and its implications for human health.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD41 is a 125/25 kD α subunit of the gpIIb/IIIa (CD41/CD61) complex. CD41 is a heterodimer composed of a heavy chain (gpIIbα) and light chain (gpIIbβ) linked by a single disulfide bond. It is a member of the integrin family primarily expressed on platelets and megakaryocytes. CD41 has been reported to be involved with platelet aggregation and platelet attachment to the ECM. CD41/CD61 complex acts as the receptor for fibrinogen, fibronectin, Von Willebrand factor and thrombin.
