The GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Human CD20 Antibody (BCA-B20) is a cutting-edge tool for researchers exploring the CD20 cell surface molecule, primarily found on B cells and associated with various immune functions. This antibody, developed by Assay Genie, is specifically designed for the detection and analysis of human CD20 in diverse cell types, making it a vital asset in immunology and cancer research.Through its high reactivity and specificity towards human CD20, the GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Human CD20 Antibody (BCA-B20) enables precise visualization and examination of CD20-expressing cells in experimental settings. This antibody is optimized for use in flow cytometry applications, facilitating the identification and characterization of B cells and their involvement in immune responses.
CD20, a well-known biomarker in B cell biology, plays a crucial role in various immune processes, including B cell development, activation, and differentiation. Understanding the expression and function of CD20 is essential for investigating diseases such as B cell malignancies, autoimmune disorders, and immunodeficiencies. The GenieFluor Violet 450 Anti-Human CD20 Antibody (BCA-B20) provides researchers with a powerful tool to further explore the role of CD20 in health and disease, potentially leading to advancements in therapeutic interventions targeting B cell-related conditions.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD20 is a 33-37 kD, four transmembrane spanning protein, also known as B1 and Bp35. CD20 is expressed on pre-B-cells, resting and activated B cells (not plasma cells), some follicular dendritic cells, and at low levels on a T cell subset. CD20 is heavily phosphorylated on activated B cells and malignant B cells. Homo-oligomeric complexes of CD20 are thought to form Ca2+ conductive ion channels in the plasma membrane of B cells. The CD20 molecule is involved in B-cell activation and is associated with various Src family kinases (Lyn, Lck, Fyn). It exists in a complex with MHC class I and II, CD53, CD81, and CD82.
