The GenieFluor 647 Anti-Mouse CD274 (PD-L1) Antibody (10F.9G2) is a powerful tool for researchers studying immune checkpoint proteins involved in immune regulation and cancer immunotherapy. This antibody, optimized for use with mouse samples, targets the CD274 protein, also known as PD-L1, a key player in immune evasion and tolerance.PD-L1 is an important immune checkpoint molecule that is often upregulated in various cancers, allowing tumor cells to escape immune surveillance. By blocking the PD-L1 pathway, researchers aim to enhance anti-tumor immune responses and improve cancer treatment outcomes. The GenieFluor 647 Anti-Mouse CD274 (PD-L1) Antibody (10F.
9G2) provides reliable detection and analysis of PD-L1 expression in mouse samples, enabling researchers to explore the role of this protein in cancer progression and immunotherapy. This antibody is ideal for a wide range of applications, including immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry, making it a versatile tool for investigating the immune response in cancer and other disease contexts. Its specificity and high reactivity ensure accurate and reproducible results, allowing researchers to gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying immune evasion and potential therapeutic strategies targeting PD-L1.

Background:
CD274, also known as B7-H1 or programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1), is a 40 kD type I transmembrane protein and a member of the B7 family within the immunoglobulin receptor superfamily. It is expressed on T cells, B cells, NK cells, dendritic cells, IFN-γ activated endothelial cells, and monocytes. B7-H1 is one of the ligands of PD-1. The interaction of B7-H1 with PD-1 plays an important role in the inhibition of T cell responses. Other studies have shown that B7-H1 is able to costimulate T cell growth and cytokine production. CD274 is involved in costimulation essential for T cell proliferation and production of IL-10 and IFN-γ, in an IL-2-dependent and a PD-1-independent manner. Its interaction with PD-1 inhibits T cell proliferation and cytokine production.
