The GenieFluor 647 Anti-Human CD73 Antibody (AD2) offered by AssayGenie is a high-quality tool designed for researchers studying CD73, a key cell surface enzyme involved in immune regulation and cancer progression. This polyclonal antibody, optimized for use in human samples, is ideal for various applications such as flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.CD73, also known as ecto-5'-nucleotidase, plays a crucial role in immune response modulation by regulating the production of adenosine, an immunosuppressive molecule. Dysregulation of CD73 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, inflammatory disorders, and autoimmune conditions.
The GenieFluor 647 Anti-Human CD73 Antibody (AD2) facilitates the detection and analysis of CD73 expression in different cell types, enabling researchers to explore its function in immunology and oncology research.By targeting CD73, researchers can gain insight into its role in immune evasion mechanisms used by cancer cells, as well as its potential as a therapeutic target for immunotherapy. This antibody provides reliable and specific detection of CD73, making it a valuable tool for studies focused on understanding the complex interplay between the immune system and cancer progression.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD73 is a 70 kD glycophosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked 5'-nucleotidase, which is also known as ecto-5'-nucleotidase. It converts adenosine monophosphate (AMP) to adenosine. CD73 is expressed on subsets of T and B cells, mesenchymal stem cells, follicular dendritic cells, endothelial cells, and epithelial cells. It has been reported that CD73 costimulates T cell activation, and mediates adhesion of lymphocytes to follicular dendritic cells and endothelial cells.
