The GenieFluor 647 Anti-Human CD4 Antibody (SK3) available at AssayGenie is a cutting-edge tool designed for research in immunology and cell biology. This antibody specifically targets the CD4 protein, a key receptor on helper T cells involved in immune responses. The GenieFluor 647 conjugate allows for high sensitivity and specificity in detecting CD4 expression in human samples, making it an invaluable asset for studies focusing on T cell biology, HIV/AIDS research, and immune system function. The SK3 antibody is rigorously validated for use in various applications, including flow cytometry and immunofluorescence, ensuring reliable and reproducible results.
By targeting the CD4 protein, researchers can gain insights into T cell activation, differentiation, and interaction with other immune cells. This antibody is ideal for investigating immune disorders, infectious diseases, and immunotherapy strategies aimed at modulating CD4-mediated immune responses.Overall, the GenieFluor 647 Anti-Human CD4 Antibody (SK3) provides researchers with a powerful tool to advance their understanding of the immune system and develop novel therapeutic interventions in the field of immunology.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 μL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 μL staining volume or per 100 μL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background Information:
CD4, also known as T4, is a 55 kD single-chain type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on most thymocytes, a subset of T cells, and monocytes/macrophages. CD4, a member of the Ig superfamily, recognizes antigens associated with MHC class II molecules and participates in cell-cell interactions, thymic differentiation, and signal transduction. CD4 acts as a primary receptor for HIV, binding to HIV gp120. CD4 has also been shown to interact with IL-16.
